Wandering and the Louvre

Well, this morning kate and I wandered around again before class. But it was so nice and hot that mostly we just sat by the river and studied for class. It was nice to finally be warm and just relax by the river. The French have very odd advertising concepts.

At school we had an Apperitif-wine, cheese, crackers-for everyone to get to know each other. We were supposed to speak only in French, but that didn't work out too well. The wine was delicious. After class we hurried home and had amazing fruit that margeaux and Monique got at the market as it was closing for super cheap. It was a tad soft, but not bad at all. Then we headed to the Louvre for free student night. It's massive and has soo much-and we only went to a third of it tonight. We saw the Mona Lisa, actually not really because there were soo many people packed in front of it we only really glimpsed it. But she's not that impressive anyways right? haha. Not-we're going back next week so we'll catch her then. We had a great time imitating the statues. Then we grabbed Kebobs and fries for dinner for only 5 euros. We were pretty excited about that. Mostly I'm excited about the weekend, cuz my brain's already very tired from all that studying. Tomorrow we are going to a flea market and then Sacre Coeur. From there we don't know but that's the best part.
