The Latin Quarter

Well school's still happening. And it's still really fun. We learned how to count and lots of vocab and how to use several common verbs. Counting may sound easy, but it's all confusing and lots of irregulars and then it's all spoken fast and in a French accent. Anyway, we still love school. Before school yesterday morning kate and I wandered around on the other side of the river and looked at shops and galleries. We got a cappuccino and Croissant with chocolate. Delicious. Then we sat on the sidewalk and people watched, which is what everyone here does. All the restaurants face their tables and chairs out so you can watch as people pass on the streets. I guess they just acknowledge that that's what everyone wants to do anyway.
After school kate and I decided to try a different way home. We got lost and it took us an hour and fifteen minutes to get home instead of twenty minutes. But we found cool side streets as we wandered around trying to find our way home. We were never really totally lost, but definitely turned around and all that. We didn't have a map so that didn't help. By the time we got home everyone was starving so all four of us went out to the Latin Quarter for dinner. That was really close to Notre Dame and our Apartment. It was a very fun atmosphere and pretty good prices compared to all the other restaurants we've been looking at. We ate in a little French restaurant, run by an Italian family. We were thinking maybe mob or something. I got steak. It was decent, definitely not the best I've ever had, but still good. We came home and watched sports bloopers before we went to bed.
